Teaspoons & Tablespoons
3 teaspoons (tsp) = 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
2 tablespoons = 1 fluid ounce (fl oz)
4 tablespoons = ¼ cup
Cups to Fluid Ounces
1 cup = 8 fl oz
¾ cup = 6 fl oz
½ cup = 4 fl oz
⅓ cup = 2.7 fl oz
¼ cup = 2 fl oz
Cups to Milliliters (ml)
(Handy if you use international recipes)
1 cup = 240 ml
½ cup = 120 ml
⅓ cup = 80 ml
¼ cup = 60 ml
1 tbsp = 15 ml

Ounces (oz) to Grams (g)

2 oz = 56 g

16 oz = 454 g (1 lb)
Butter Conversions
1 stick butter (US) = ½ cup = 8 tbsp
1 cup butter = 2 sticks
1 stick butter = 4 oz
Chocolate & Baking Conversions
1 baking bar (typical) = 4 oz
8 oz chocolate = 1 cup (chips or chopped)
12 oz chocolate chips = 2 cups
Flour & Sugar (Approximate)

All-Purpose Flour
1 cup ≈ 120 g

Granulated Sugar
1 cup ≈ 200 g
½ cup ≈ 100 g
Powdered Sugar
1 cup ≈ 120 g
Oven Temperature Guide
350°F = 177°C
375°F = 190°C
